Classy Downtown Evening / Jazz & Barney

I had this photoshoot in my head from the moment I first discovered this location months ago. As much as I wish I could take photos her of me and my hubby, I knew that I needed to be the photographer in this scenario to try out some new ideas and make these photos in my head come to fruition. And how happy I was when my friend Jazmine and her husband Barney agreed (VERY last minute too) to be my models for this occasion! Just look at them, they were seriously the perfect couple for this type of shoot! I am SUUUPER stoked on the turnout for these photos even though lighting was a challenge. I did break out my flash to experiment a little bit, but I ended up liking the results of the lighting that was already in the room. I’m still quite the newbie when it comes to flash photography because I favor working with natural light so much more. But enough ranting…let’s get into the photos.
